If your really not sure if its going to be something you will stick with I would go for a cheapo like a Yamaha from best buy or target. Usually less than 100 bucks. Not the greatest but usually have softer strings. I had an old pawn shop guitar that I started to learn with. Then about 3-4 months in when I stuck with it and finally started to get it I rewarded myself with a nicer higher end epiphone acoustic
Lets face it a huge percentage of ppl trying to learn usually quit 1-2 weeks in. Because well the first month or 2 of trying to learn sucks. Finger tips are sore wrist cramps up feel like you have no rhythm.
