Actually, Brees has been wearing thin since the contract situation this summer. People want to think the Saints should've just "paid the man." But he had just as much to do with it taking so long as the team did. Then, he plays the season without his usual consistency. It should be frustrating to all fans who are paying attention.

I'm irritated he held out. He was going to get paid regardless and no QB in the history of the NFL has hurt himself in OTAs

The only "act" I see is him playing football for my favorite team in the world, and with the exception of a bad game every now and then, doing it extremely fricking well.
