The fact that this guy has to spend 2 years for making one drunken mistake disgusts me. I cannot believe so many LSU fans support this nonsense. If the tables were turned an it was an LSU fan teabagging a bama fan, this board would be up in arms saying "OMG that gump shouldn't have been passed out in the midde of bourbon!" Half of this board has probably done dumber shite while on Bourbon. This guy is being taken away from his family for this. Everyone needs to look at the bigger pictre and realize that there is more to life than a football rivalry.

If the roles were reversed, I wouldn't feel any different. Regardless of your choice of teams, you've got to be a special brand of stupid to put your junk on someone's face in a public place. Especially knowing that when you're doing is being taped and that in this age of Youtube and the Internet that it'll no doubt be seen all over the place. Even worse, knowing that you have a wife and a child to take care of. He didn't make a mistake, he made an ignorant choice for which he's not shown the slightest bit of remorse, other than he was caught and prosecuted for it.

2 years can be considered excessive but he won't serve nearly that time. Yes, he's being taken away from his family, so maybe HE should have "looked at the bigger picture."

2 years for momentary drunken stupidity is absurd. If we punished everyone who did something like this when they were drunk, within months there would be a flood of white males overloading the justice system instead of black males. Should he do time? of course, but what is the marginal advantage to a 2 year sentence over a 2 month sentence. Does anyone actually think it will make him less likely to do such a thing again? because the chances of that are already zero, guaranteed. and there will be zero impact on anyone else's future decision to do something this dumb, so then the question becomes, why the frick should we all have to pay to keep this assclown alive, fed, and secure for such a ridiculous amount of time??? bottom line, it was a non-violent crime that did zero physical damage to the victim.

This guy deserves to be pounded in the arse...financially, because money is the only real way to correct an injustice in which the only damage done is emotional. locking him up for 24 months instead of 2 or whatever isn't going to make the victim feel better, and it isnt going to change anyone's decision making. It's just going to waste a lot of fricking money that should be spent prosecuting the goddamn army of murderers and violent offenders walking around free in NO right now.
