You love Les because he brings us to water but never lets us drink? And is owned? Are you a masochist?
Les has out performed every coach in the history of LSU in terms of win percentage over an extended period of time. He has won at a higher rate than anyone in LSU history. He's outperformed ALL of them...won a title and played for another in an 8 year period.

Don't worry about me, I take shits that are bigger than you.

Wrong, I got it long ago and that's why I laugh at guys like you and your friends. Trust me you and your friends are funny.
Oh, now you can answer the other guy's answer to your question...he submitted Ridley and Russell.

Randle was solid, but never the star that Hilliard, Hodson, Kennison , Faulk or even Collins ever were.

I think you know what I'm getting at, and I think you know I'm right.
As to the above, Miles is a "defensive coach?" LOLfrickINGWUT? Lester's (wrongfully formerly indulged) idea of defensive football was 2 fricking retards who couldn't even learn their own signals. Let that sink in.
We are where we're supposed to be - good but not too good. Enjoy not being 2-9, but the point of all sport is to at least try to reach the pinnacle (by which I mean #1 in case you still have no idea what I'm talking about), and we will not get there under this guy.
And you idiots just gave him a huge extension.
Again, you deserve it, but I'm not going to get real excited about something for which I already know the outcome. It and he take the fun out of it, and I mean every syllable of that.

#1 pick overall...What would you have done Blueboy to secure J-Rock's success?
Are you f/ing kidding me?
Les screwed Jamarcus over

Les already won the title...

Haha, I love how you overlook the player that will easily be a top 10 pick next year because he doesnt score touchdowns.
Or do you overlook him because you just want to continue to rant and rave and get attention?
Oh, yea, that makes more sense. Check my sig quote. I am really going to enjoy your misery for the next seven years. Because I have certainly enjoyed it up to this point

This is my thought as well. Les Miles...crushing the hopes and dreams of ranters (and apparently some old guy) since 2005...plus another 7 years. I can't wait to see the pain.

Was Will Blackwell poorly coached. He was only a 1st team All American last year.

You are either dumb as frick, a liar, or maybe senile since you're so old apparently.
2000 blowouts to Auburn and Florida, and of course UAB. Arkansas was a sloppy uninspired mess.
2001 Saban got buttfricked by 30 by Rex Grossman in Tiger Stadium, Ole Miss at home was an utter embarrassment and one of our worst losses ever imo.
2002 laid an egg in the OOC national TV opener against VT, got crushed by Auburn and shutout by Dennis Franchione in Tiger Stadium 31-0, shite away SECCG against Arkansas, and got embarrassed by Mack Brown in Cotton Bowl.
2003 a truly epic failure by Saban's best team at LSU losing to a 5 loss Zook Gator team in Tiger Stadium only converting 3 third downs and not scoring a single offensive point costing us an undefeated season and split title. Another of the all time worst losses in LSU history.
2004, bent over by Georgia in yet another 30 point blowout, and screwed our QB situation in the loss to Auburn benching Randall after he led us to a TD on the opening drive, and of course the late collapse against Iowa.
I loved the Saban years at LSU but frick all of you liars who pretend like LSU was some well oiled machine that never had bad games under Saban.
Miles has had bad losses every year too, but he's had less than Saban or any other LSU coach and that's a numerical fact.
You're more likely upset with Miles' "bad" or unsatisfying WINS than his losses, and if you'd like I can go through Saban's bad wins too.
GFY you old dumbass bitch

Before I comment further on Russell - you point out that Miles didn't recruit Russell. While true, this is, again, another criterion you didn't lay out until after the fact. It's this continual moving of the goalposts that's making this thread hard to take seriously.

I think you know what I'm getting at, and I think you know I'm right.
If your point is that the LSU offense has for the most part sucked from 2009 to now, sure, it has. And its difficulties have certainly taken a lot of talented players' opportunities to become greats in the vein of the players you named - leaving aside the cases where the players themselves aren't being utilized/developed properly. I don't think anyone being reasonable in assessing this team says otherwise. Its offensive performance has been bad for the level of talent that's been brought in. Quite bad.
As for the rest... You know less than 2% of I-A teams play for the national championship each year, right? And furthermore that that 2% each year very rarely includes a team that was in the 2% last year, right? The goal should be to win the title every year. The expectation should be to be in the running for the title every year. It's unrealistic to expect to win the title every year, but with LSU's talent and brand, it's realistic to expect to compete for a chance at the title every year.
And with the exception of the rebuilding years in 2008-09 (which undoubtedly involved subpar performance from Miles), LSU has been in the running every single year Miles has been here. That's including his first season while the state was crushed by two of the deadliest natural disasters in national history. Let that sink in.
The job Miles has done during his tenure at LSU has been in the highest echelon of college football every year. His pay raise puts him as one of the highest-paid college coaches.
LSU already reached the pinnacle once, in 2007, lest you forget so soon. LSU was one clusterfrick away from reaching it a second time, and in the process of getting there put together the greatest season of football LSU has ever played. There's still work to be done, but while I appreciate your point in saying that the offense needs work (it does), I disagree with the conclusion that we're doomed because Miles is here to stay.

If we are talking national accolades, then I would have to say Josh Reed.

Saban lost minimum 3 games per year, except for 03 season. Most of these dumb fricks still hail him as the greatest we ever had..
