These are just some of the positions advanced by so-called "Positigers" this week:

- LSU and its fans should be happy being second best in its own division of its own conference.

- LSU and its fans have no right to expect to be the best program in its own division of its own conference.

- LSU can never establish a dynasty, only Florida and Bama are capable of this.

- If LSU loses Miles, LSU won't be able to carry on as a powerhouse and will immediately and inexorably revert to the mediocrity of the 1990's.

- LSU is not capable of hiring ANY MAN in America who could dominate Saban and restore LSU to being the top program in the SEC West. We're doomed to second best

I find it so interesting to see into the mind of someone so delusional. It's obvious your brain is filtering the statements of other and turning them into some outrageous claims.

In your brain things get turned around.

"I'm happy winning 10 games this year" turns into "I'm happy being second best."

"It's difficult to consistantly win national championships" turns into "LSU can't be a dynasty".(Not to mention there are really no such things as Dynasties in today's college football world).

"There is no coach in the country that will accept the LSU job and that can be expected to do better than Miles" turns into "LSU can not hire a coach that can beat Saban. Fans should accept being second best".

Your brain is amazingly damaged, but thank you for allowing us to see behind the curtain.

Sorry, I won't carry on any dialogue with someone who stubbornly insists that LSU was "really" the best program in the SEC last season, despite the NCG result and the combined results of the two LSU-Bama games. It's not worth it. You clearly aren't amenable to reasoned argument. It's the equivalent of debating the existence of a ghost with a madman. Some people are beyond saving.
