Anyone still want to pimp Carson as a top 10 Qb?

Everywhere I read going into this week was touting him as a top 10 Qb going forward. It's laughable as you saw this weekend. If he gets any pressure put on him he just shits the bed and for some reason he thinks he has more juice in his arm than he has left. I had him last year and the dude is frustrating as hell to own.

RIP then
I just thought it was a perfect example of the fantasy sheep mind set and how people over react and dont look at things with a objective view.

He's the number 10 ranked QB in my league, so yes. Do you understand how rankings work?

Yes I do and I don't give a flying shite about to date rankings with out watching the games. Hell Andre Roberts is ranked 20 and Nicks is ranked 47 in my league wr rankings. Based on your logic you would start Roberts over nicks? I think not.
My point wasn't that he hasn't been productive so far, but that if you have him as you qb1 as some were suggesting you are fricked.

No. Nicks has been hurt most of the year.

I can agree with this. I was never a true believer and he has some tough matchups coming up. However, dude got it done somehow. He's been more consistent than most other "better" QBs.

Well to use Roberts vs Nicks is unfair since Nicks has been injured all year and Roberts has been healthy.
Palmer ranks 11th in my league, guys comparable to him are Romo, Flacco, Schaub, Newton (although tonight's performance put Newton ahead of him), Eli, Big Ben, Vick, and Rivers.
Of that group many would start him over all except Newton, Eli, and Ben.

I understand how the comparison could be perceived as flawed. I own both of them and Nicks has about turned my hair gray. My point was to display how the ranking of points scored to date can be a flawed tool if used blindly.
I agree on the qb options except I would have romo over Palmer. The options tducen listed proves my point. Palmer was projected as a better starter than almost all of those guys.

You going by just last week?
I mean most of those guys have been projected over Palmer and he has out performed them. Palmer has obviously put up the stats up to this point to warrant the Top 10 talk as he has been consistent and productive.
I mean hell Stafford, Eli, and Cam have sucked most of year and they were top 3 round QB's and people probably took Palmer off FA list at start of season. Great value right there

I am basing this on past history and the fact that w/o DMC line backers are not keying on the run game and dropping in to coverage or pinning their ears back Amd sending the house. His offensive line is shite. I have always been of the mind set that a guy that has been in the league this long isn't going to change his stripes this far into his career. Also there is talk of the raiders possibly trying out Pryor since they are out of playoff contention. Like I said I have had the guy in the past and he has always proven to be a matchup guy.

Guy was money till knee injury in Cincy. Was basically a tier 2 QB sorta like Big Ben is now fantasy wise.
He still has a chance to put up monster numbers but receivers need to do a better job of catching the ball.
Last week vs Saints he put up 16.68 points not great but good enough... This week he did squat but last week he would have ranked 8/9th over Ryan, Rodgers, Stafford, Luck, Romo, Rivers, and Eli

I am not arguing any of your points, I am referring to going forward. He very well could end up a top 10 guy, but no way in hell would I have him as a qb1 ros and trade my starting qb away and rely on him.

Has a favorable schedule (Browns, Broncos, Chiefs, Panthers).

Find me the articles that said to trade your top QB and start Palmer.

Outside of Broncos he doesn't face a legit defense....
Against KC earlier this year 209 yards 2 TD 1 INT
Against SD 297 yards 1 TD
Against Den 202 yards
With Carolina/Cle I would be willing to bet 250+ and 2/1
Would put him averaging 15 a week with potential for more

Hell look at almost any pay site, espn, CBS, and people posting on here, etc. Leading into the saints game people were claiming he would be a qb1 in a ten team league ros and were suggesting riding him in to the playoffs. He was projected higher than Eli, cam, romo. I just found that to be absurd.
As for his matchups the broncos matchup sucks and the browns could shut his arse down also. If Haden is put on Moore it is going to fluster the shite out of him and it will be check down city.
I could be in a different situation since my league offers bonuses for yardage(3 pts@250,300,350) and has 6 pts per passing touchdown. Either way I am just giving a opinion.
