Offense does not have to be innovative to win in the sec. Miles has proven that. What you do need to win is execution of your plan and passing attack. Lsu lacked that early and we lost. It got better as the season went on and we finally had a decent pass game. Imagine what may be next year if they stick to plan and execute any better. The real diff between us and Alabama is they have a qb they trust and have a passing scheme vs just running passing plays. I feel like at the end of the season we began to develop the same.

If you didnt see a difference in our passing scheme from early in the season to Bama-Ole Miss then I dont know what to tell you

No I saw a big difference as the year went along. That is my point. We could not protect the qb early so we ran a lot of one or two receiver routes. I equate this to just running random passing plays just for the sake of it.

Later in the season I think we went to more or an overall scheme of multiple receivers and taking advantage of match ups. That is what we need to focus on not a new off cord. If Stud continues to devise schemes that take advantage of match ups and the execution is their then the passing game can develop into exactly what lsu needs.

To clarify I say Alabama runs a passing scheme and to begin the season lsu ran random passing plays. To end the season we developed more of a scheme and I hope that continues to develop.
