I guess if I were a Saints fan I wouldn't acknowledge life after Brees either, but franchises and coaches do continue playing once a certain quarterback hangs it up or moves on. Which goes to my point that while he may have strong feelings for Brees, long-term prospects/prestige/quality-of-life/likelihood of not being murdered on any given day are much better for him in Dallas than in New Orleans. And you will all have to stomach such fact when he dons the Blue star visor in a couple months.
Yeah it's obviously much easier to get talent in Dallas which is why they are so talented right now. Oh wait.... Idiot

Why waste 2 more years while Brees falls from his prime when the coaching opportunity of a lifetime awaits.

So you think Drew is falling from his prime (only a year older than Romo BTW)?

And you think the opportunity of a lifetime is Romo and that train wreck of an offense and franchise headed by the biggest douche in the universe?

I didn't think I was being coy about "trolling" but I was genuine in wanting to hear the excuses for why the Saints' savior of a coach will likely bail. So far I have been disappointed with the delusion, but not surprised by it.

haste to ink a deal with New Orleans since becoming a "free agent?" Seems pretty clear he could have signed the same deal if that was truly his intent.

1. He cant sign the same deal
2. His market value has gone up
3. He has in his fricking contract he wouldnt work without Mickey Loomis, why the hell would he leave him and work for Jones?
4. He can only talk to us until he is reinstated by the league.
5. "Wade Phillips" - so dumb

Read closer my friend... Try attempting comprehension on this round. Maybe you'll see the shortcoming of your logic.

You're either terribly unsubtle troll or one hell of an idiot. Either way, you suck at life. Go away.

Let's put this to a vote.
That'll put an end to this squabbling.

Will Payton stay or leave?

I say stay.

You said it is a better opportunity to coach Romo (shite QB, choke artists, joke of the NFL, talentless- hack) that to coach Drew Brees (record shattering, future HOF, one of the GOATs, superbowl ring having beast) because Drew is too old and declining from his prime when he is only a year older than Romo.

Solid troll thread. I look forward to your next post.

If Payton goes to Dallas I give you permission to come here and laugh at all of us but in return if he stays I want you to come back here and take your beating like a fricking man. But of course you won't because you're a pathetic pussy who will never return to this board because of your stupidity

Calm down internet badass. Nobody doubts your virtual toughness. Lighten up a little bit. I wanted to talk about a legitimate and topical issue. The Saints fans in this thread decided to let the insults fly. Can we get back on topic?
