Honored numbers in TS

I don't know if they are "retired" numbers or just honored, but I find it hard to believe that we only have two...Billy Cannon's #20 and Tommy Cassanova's #37.
What about Jerry Stovall, Mike Andersen, Charles Alexander, Gaynell Tinsley, Glenn Dorsey, Warren Capone, and Patrick Peterson? With all the proud tradition of Tiger football, I'd like to see some more of our past Tigers honored in the stadium like these other two.

Of your list, only Stovall and Alexander should be considered at this time.

Care to explain why the others shouldn't be considered? Not saying you're wrong, just want to hear your thoughts.

No Kevin Faulk number, no care

I could see him added as well, but I believe the others have a more compelling case.

Well Glenn Dorsey was good, but not "retired number" good. And PP7 left after his junior season so that's an automatic disqualification. I don't know much about the other players though.

First off only billy cannons number is retired.
Tommy Cassanovas #37 jersey is retired not the number. Not sure who #37 is this year but K Hatcher wore #37 for 4 years.
I think LSU has decided not to retire football numbers and just "hang" jersey numbers in Tiger Stadium.

I'm not going to dispute any of the stats and/or reasons you gave for Faulk. Almost all of the others I mentioned were multiple time All-Americans.
Again, my biggest point is that a program with a tradition as rich as LSU's should have more than two players honored in the stadium.
