This is the recipe that my wife's been using for a couple of years now......it's an upscale mac and cheese with the egg noodles and fontina cheese. The bacon really puts it over the top. I do find it's better (not as messy) the next day after it settled a night in the fridge......definitely recommend this recipe.

P.S.-My wife puts bacon in it instead of the cooked ham.

Glad to hear this is a good one. I'm determined to master it this year. Although it seems like Mac and Cheese would be the easiest thing to make for some reason everyone in the family has given it a go and its very easy to dry it out.
