There's really only one sane answer here...I'd PREFER the students not do it, because it's meant the banning of some fun, and in the case of Tiger Rag, traditional music from Tiger Stadium

This.

The ethics of saying STTDB (lulz) aside, it really comes down to two things - does the student section prefer to say STTDB and lose one song at a time, or would they like the stadium to get fired up again with songs like Neck? If that's they case, they'd have to bite their tongues. Which won't happen, unfortunately.

Whether or not you agree it's okay to say, no one here calls the shots on if TGBFTL can play it or not.

eta: whether or not you can or can't hear it in certain places in TS, there are mics in the student section for stations. There's the problem.

You make it sound like it's either or. Sure, Neck got the crowd pumped up and I'm sad it's gone too, but I'd say the crowd for Bama and USCe were pretty pumped up even without Neck.

Like someone said earlier, as soon as someone made a big deal out of it and banned neck, they ensured that it was going to keep being incorporated in other songs.

There are worse things said throughout the stadium and in stadiums all over the country. It's not just an LSU thing. It makes me laugh and hearing everyone complain makes me want to keep saying it.

and at the guy who said we have the dumbest student section in the country
