So you dont think our offense is a record setting beast?
It has been in years past. That doesn't mean it is this year.

consistent goal line stands, opponents ppg dropping, big plays when it counts. I wasnt joking. At all.
Oh, well, homer...and all that other jazz.

Since Denver ripped that defense apart, you've played terrible Philly and Oakland teams. Is that the good defensive play you're talking about? Atlanta still score 27 points and had 450 yards. Oakland even went over 400 yards. Philly had 450 yards with their terrible offense.

Granted, that is improvement, but nothing like you're making it out to be.

you think their offense is on the same level as our offense? You honestly dont think we have a great offense? seriously?
How can the Saints offense be great when they're ranked 26th in rushing offense? Of course they have a great passing attack. That still doesn't translate to a great offense.

Look at it this way, the Saints and 49ers are complete opposites on offense.

49ers: 1st in rush offense, 27 in pass offense
Saints: 26th in rush offense, 2nd in pass offense

Both are good. I don't call an offense or defense great if they're only good at half of what they can do (between rushing and passing).

Highly skewed statistic right here. You have to take into account what getting Vitt back has done for the rushing game. This isn't the same offense that went 0-4, and not close. Kromer has finally been able to focus on the offensive line while Vitt runs the team, and the results have been a tremendous improvement.

The Denver game was a blowout, we all know that, but first game back with Vitt, and I can see why there was some confusion. I picked us losing that game regardless. But let's look at the 3 since.

140 yards vs Eagles
148 vs Falcons
153 vs Oakland

So, that's 147 yards rushing a game. And I believe the rushing attack will stay dangerous.

Where would 147 yards per game rank?

SF is #1 averaging 165.5 yards
WAS at #2 with 165
MIN at #3 with 150.5
and this current Saints team, the real Saints team, would be at #4 with their current level of production.
