Reports are not very good right now. They are either in shock from pressure, or locked-down with doe. Thats what I'm hearing from other reports.....

I just got back a couple days ago.
Memphis, MO, NE area, near IA border.
We got 11 deer on 165 acres, 4 bucks, but towards the back end, the pressure had them spooked.
Best way I put it was that on opening day, from the stand I hunted, it sounded like the Revolutionary war out there.
They were wide open the first few days of the season. 2 8's and a 10 were chasing a doe in a corn field the day before the season opened about 30 feet in front of me, didn't even notice me.

The same thing is happening in Union Parish, LA it seems. Pics galore at night but not seeing them in the daylight. I'm hunting all day today and trading my guns for a jig pole if we don't have luck today.
