Now this is a legit complaint. Assault Rifles really have no place in this game at this point and sniping is the easiest it has ever been in any CoD.

I've been using the m8a1 with select fire and it has a fire rate about as fast as an smg. I have been setting up shop in buildings and picking people off running around with smg's and have been doing pretty well. Using bouncing Betty with black hat and scavenger so I can use other people's claymores and stuff against them
I agree the smg seem over powered but if you play it right it can be countered. It's a slow style of play, some might call it camping, but I have always been an assault rifle guy
