Expedite the closing on a home as a seller

I'm hopefully about to have a contract on my home. Is there anyway to get the lenders to expedite the closing? It will probably be a rural development loan. I'd like to get closing done before I have to get vacant home coverage.

Rural Development is very backed up. My RD loans are taking over 45 days now. It is not the lenders fault. Blame it on the government.

Insurance will prorate back what coverage you don't use when you sell.
