He def is not a Sproles replacement, he'd be more of a Reggie player. He would never hold up running between the tackles, but getting him in space like we always did with Reggie would be productive

I guess that's where I'm going with this. This type of player has been/is a cog in our offense. Shepard isn't near as good as Sproles, but he's quick and is good in space and could 'presumably' catch the ball out of the backfield.

I don't think Cadet is the next player to fill that role.

Not many other players fit the role like Bush or Sproles. Maybe Kenjon Barner (Org.), D'Anthonty Thomas (Org.) Chris Thompson (FSU) or Andre Ellington (Clem)? Those guys are going to be high draft picks though.
