Another pecan baked item Tasseys This Time

Tasseys are little one bite pecan pies.

The Wife’s (May Her Name Be Praised Forever - MHNBPF) Pecan Tasseys

Use ready made Pillsbury dough boy pie crust from the dairy case and small “bite size” muffin pans. The intent is to make little bite-size pies.

You’ll Need:

1/4 Stick Unsalted Butter at room temperature
1 Cup Sugar or you may use “Splenda” we usually o this.
2 egg equivalents of Egg beaters
Pinch Salt
1 Tablespoon Jelly (plum works best). May use “no sugar added” jelly if you like, but homemade plum works best.
1 Tablespoon Self Rising Flour
1 Tablespoon Water
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Chopped Pecan pieces

Directions:

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, salt, jelly, flour and water in a bowl. Add vanilla and chopped pecans and mix until blended. Cut pie crust into 2 inch circles and press each mini-crust into a muffin tin depression. Add about 1 - 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling to each crust lined muffin shell. Fill each crust about 2/3rds full. Bake at 350 degrees until firm (about 20 min).

I can eat these as fast as the wife makes them. My self imposed limit is no more than about twenty a day.

Google Image Pecan Tassey and ignore Stripper shots. The others images that come up will look like her Tasseys.

What's the internet coming to? I googled it and no stripper photos came up. And I was so certain they would.

There was this girl from Georgia. I could have sworn her stage name was Pecan Tassey. Lovely Red hair... Oh well - another post for another board.
