I don't know how things will be over a year from now, but all of my engineering buddies were able to get a job before or into their last semester of their senior year. I do have one business friend who has had an incredibly tough time to get one interview, even with completion of his MBA. So there is certainly a difference depending on where your degree falls.

If jimbeam is making a 2.5 he better start working overtime to get himself in a good position or he will be struggling to get a job.
