Some people are unable to bring objectivity and analytic thinking to college football.
And, it's hard to be so detached that there is no emotion. That kind of detachment isn't fun, anyway.
However, Les' faults are persistently on display, much to the frustration of many .
Onme fault is underestimated, in my view , and that is his STUBBORNNESS.
Les could address the mistakes he repeats over and over by relying on the imput of other coaches. I fhe would do that, his outstanding record could be even better.

i agree. my biggest critisism of miles is as you state. i like and believe in the power running game but there are situations that that it is going to get shut down, esp by a team built to stop the run; bama, florida, etc. miles has a different definition of the "game beitn on the line". at the end of the bama game we had the ball with a small lead. yes, our d had shut them down in the entire second half but i would have liked to see him throw a pass because the bama d lined up to stuff the run and they did. that meant we let them get the ball back and they ultimately won the game. miles stubborness in that situation leads to his tendencies beitn too strong and he needs to break those tendencies somethimes. i'll bet chavis can tell him about his offensive tendencies.
