One time. In the first quarter - and it wasn't a hold, it was a tackle.

bama won and LSU had too many chances to seal the deal and didn't. NO execuses for LSU not putting it away. And bama made the plays at the end to win.

Simple to understand.

But any bama fan has their head on backwards if they don't know bama gets away with murder on the line.

FACT from stats on bama's football website:

In the last six SEC games of 2009, including the SEC title game against the gators, bama had NO holding penalties. Go figure?

This year, one against Mizzou and LSU. Both in the first qtr.

Oh well.

As stated more times than I care to count, by LSU fans as well as Bama fans, it's called technique. Proper technique looks like holding to anyone who is expecting to find it, but not to the officials. Deal with it.
