Ok. I haven't shot either, so I don't speak from experience but hearsay. I'm looking forward to shooting my friend's .444 soon. He has a limbsaver pad on his and swears by 'em. Your thoughts?

Worth every penny on either caliber. Not absolutely necessary or anything, but it does make them a whole lot more tolerable to shoot. I highly recommend putting one on any gun that has unpleasent recoil. Of course, if you're a recoil junky you won't like it.

It doesn't work as well as a muzzle brake or anything, but it helps alot.

As far as caliber, get whichever one you want. They are about the same for all in tents and porpoises. Better to get the same one your buddy shoots incase you run get in a bind for ammo somehow one day.
