Wouldn't read much into this show from a religious angle. As much as I would love to see Aslan roll up in the joint and lay down the law, I don't see it happening at all.

A wildcard for the show is Oz and that whole lot. Disney owns the Oz rights now and they have their Oz: The Great and Powerful coming out next spring.

I have always sensed that there is a greater evil than anything we have seen to this point.. could the "greater evil" be Oz himself..?

Whatever it is, it's going to be an ancient evil.. maybe something, or someone, that created the Dark One, the Ogres, the Rathes etc. to begin with?

If they are including bible characters, the writers definitely think the bible is more fairy tale and less religious.
