Clearly, our offense was more productive in the Cotton Bowl. We dominated turnovers then and now.
The time of possession stat tells me our defense had it worse today than for the Cotton Bowl.
Most significant observation? Both were LSU victories!

All that matters.

The Cotton Bowl was coming off of 30+ days to prepare, whereas we played a high profile game last week against South Carolina. I also think we had more stability at the O-Line position back then as we do now, and a stouter defense, which is probably most important.
Regardless, proud of both wins.
