Could see me rolling up to show my old man and him looking for the bullet hole.. Then ask "son where did ya hit him" me "well........he turned just as i was pulling the trigger and i hit him a little further back than i wanted"

A double lunger will drop them on the spot more than anything else I've seen.

Within 75 yds in decent light I wait for them to feed and take a head shot. Otherwise I always go for lung shot. Slightly behind the shoulder. We process our meat though and shooting in the shoulder makes that hell to deal with. While with a lung shot they usually run 20-100 yds, leave a great blood trail (pink and bubbly) and it's much easier to deal with the ribs, not shoulders.
