We should be the underdogs, but there's a lot working for us...

last SATURDAY night games we have lost in Death Valley (excludes that Mon night fiasco vs. UT):

1. Florda in 2009
2. Alabama in 2002
3. Ole Miss in 2001
4. UAB 2000
5. Houston 1999
6. Kentucky in 1998
7. Georgia in 1998
8. Auburn in 1997
9. Alabama in 1996
10. Southern Miss in 1994

In 18.5 seasons, we have lost 10 night games at home on Saturday nights (kickoff at 6 pm or more). We have had likley 70 night games at TS during that time. I'd venture to say that most teams, even good ones, would have had 10 in ten years. This is certainly a stat that I think Vegas would look at, but of course they are Vegas and who knows what they have up their sleeves. All I can say is that I think SC is the best SEC team right now, but I feel more confident about this game than I do of the next 2 big ones after. SC is on a huge high after beating their top rival and they draw us right after and we are going to be angry and play with our backs up against the BSC wall. I like our chances even though they will be the best team, by far, that we play this year with Alabama being the only other comparable opponent.

As long as TS is rocking and we stop ML and Sanders and don't let Clowney choke Zack, I think we shall win.

Play Hill, Ware, and throw a bone to Hilliard and Ford rarely. Get Landry and our TE's the ball. This is it...win and stay alive for everything. Lose and play for a Capital One Bowl at best.
