Here is the official rule statement from NCAA Rulebook on the fumble:

Rule 12 Section 3-D

Live ball ruled dead in possession of a ball carrier when the clear recovery of a loose ball occurs in the immediate continuing action after the loose ball.

1. If the ball is ruled dead and the replay official does not have indisputable video evidence as to which team recovers, the dead-ball ruling stands.

2. If the replay official rules that the ball was not dead, it belongs to the recovering team at the spot of the recovery and any advance is nullified.

So for all LSU fans complaining here it is. I have seen some that do actually understand the rules, and to y'all

And when a player fakes a fall a referee should not throw a 15 yard penalty that gives Florida the game.

At that point in the game the refs made sure all calls went against LSU. The refs should have kept their stupid flags in their pockets at that time. No he was loooking for anything to flag LSU on just when Florida needed it . LSU has a great 40 yard punt return and they then call a behind the back block when they should have let them play (everyone knows that they can call this or holding every play and that they shouldn't especially NOT when the game is on the line).Fact is the refs decided to take over the game then and so Florida is #6 and LSU chances for national title now over. Florida will probably play for national title . could have been LSU as stupid florida only won by a single score even with all the refs help.. And those announcers most biased peice of dung. )

No one can tell me that that 15 yard personal foul and that behind the block ,
