If you really want to be a "Tiger Fan", keep your negative bs to yourselves and work on your own behavior "as a fan". I've had season tickets since 1991 and I know what it's like to "hope" for an 8-4 season. I don't know what was more sickening yesterday...the performance by our team or the ridiculous "negative" predictions by some of you clowns. Based on what I read yesterday, the bandwaggon is empty and we could use a new group of fans that will stick with this team. For those of you that are predicting "disaster"...please...please stay away. The team doesn't need you. Do you fools think before you post? Do you think your posts do anything to help the situation? It makes the situation worse, it hurts LSU's recruiting efforts, and it definately shows the team that they have no support when things are down. Quiters gonna quit...so just quit for good as a fan.
Dude, all LSU fans are butthurt about yesterday's loss. You are no better a fan than anyone else that is upset about the way LSU played yesterday. In fact, being upset about an LSU loss is a pretty good barometer for judging whether someone is an LSU fan, so congratulations. You seem to be just as upset as anyone. However, while some fans appear to be venting their frustrations toward LSU's coaching, playcalling, etc... you are simply venting your frustration at other LSU fans. LSU fans, the ones who are upset about yesterday's loss, aren't the problem.

Yeah, I will go as far as saying if that loss yesterday didn't piss you off, there is no way in hell you are a "real fan."

You look like a moron to almost everyone who reads this thread and you aren't helping your case with any of your subsequent posts.
You have yet to point out anything valid. Sarcasm, insults, and conjecture equate to just that. If you actually made a point based on anything factual that I said, then you would be getting a different response from me.

You have some sort of psychological disorder. Or maybe you are just a weak spirited person. Either way, no one is impressed by your super fan attitude.
Calling for everyone to support the team and not give up equates to "weak spirited" That is the final proof that you've read nothing on this thread, jumped in out of context, and have been back pedaling with the whole victim-mentality charade..
And here's a little lesson for you: Speak only for yourself. "No one is impressed" or "you look like a moron to almost everyone" doesn't make whatever argument you're trying to wedge deep into your own loose arse or those of the other suicidal fans on this thread any more valid. It only further weakens an already fruitless waste of time commentary that you've been producing.
Now kindly piss off. I'm done with you.

Possibly you could advise us at what point do we hit the panic button? If you can't see a downward trend in the quality of what's being put on the field since the final game of last season, maybe you do have more insight into this game than the rest of us!
Posted on 10/7/12 at 2:17 pm to Tiger Khan
There is a big difference between negative and realistic. We have a great defense and a below average offense. That below average offense wears our defense out late in teh game. Can't expect them to pitch a shut out every game when they are on the field as much as they are.

all the former LSU players commenting on the same problems we are, just not good fans
Wrong...not what I said. Over the last few years...there have been several times when the fan base turned on the players and they tweeted obvious posts that they knew that they could only count on their fellow players to "have their back". Players have made these comments numerous times while still playing on the team. You taking what a former player tweets and trying to tie it to my comment is stupid. What I said is a fact and it speaks for what some players feel when it comes to support from their fanbase. They are speaking directly to people like you.

Being critical, dissenting, and venting are all welcome. There are plenty of problems with this team that need addressing.
However, while there is still a chance to find an identity and turn the season around - I believe the best thing we can do is support the team!

Where did I ever say I was a better fan than anyone? I made a point that the jackasses that feel the need to express their negitivity...suck as fans. Maybe you are right...we should all resort to bashing everything about our team and they will be better for it. That makes perfect sense...for a loser with a $hit attitude!

Dumbass, the players weren't criticizing the fans. The tweets were criticizing the coaching staff.

No we want you to get a clue!! We love LSU and we love our team, but our team has been playing badly since late last season.
Our coaches won't attack other teams weaknesses, and they refuse to play to our offesnsive stregnths.

we do.. We just see support in trying times much differently than you do.
Anyone thinking Miles doesn't need to make fundamental changes in his offensive approach isn't worth talking to, and that is pretty much 99% of the discussion

Like the OP bitching and questioning others' fanhood and proclaiming the superiority of his own? Because he is not being "negative"? Get the frick out of here with that sissy garbage.

I don't give a shite what kind of response you see fit to give. That's your prerogative thus I am unconcerned with your own personal shitty perspective.

Oh yes, because that's clearly what I was arguing.
Who has stopped supporting the team. Give me ONE example. You and OP's entire premise is bullshite based on the weak spirited perspective that "negativity" some how equates to not supporting the team. It's ironic for you to call anyone a pussy.

You are deluded. That's really all I can say.

Oh, thanks for the lesson. It sure does seem that I was mistaken and most everyone in this thread has agreed with you and the OP. I guess you've "proven" that I was wrong in that respect, huh?
And I'm not trying to make any profound argument. In fact, it is as rudimentary as can be. It is for whiny, weak spirited people like you and the OP to shut the frick up regarding the "fanhood" or "support" for the team of others because of their opinions on the performance displayed.

Go frick yourself and bitch about how people being critical bothers you. You weak spirited little girl.

OK...after THIS season is over. Can you hold off until then? I don't even really know what that means to "hit the panic button". Will it mean jack shite? What will change if a hit this panic button. I would equate that to me giving up on the Tigers and not renewing my tickets. That won't happen.

Oh I see, so calling someone a pussy for surrendering the entire season after a loss is only something a 13 year old would do right?

But a true fan like you who cuts his losses and runs for the hills at the first sign of adversity makes you an "adult"...
Basically, I can read every single post you're typing out and read it in a whiny kid's voice, crying and stamping his feet...
Get a grip of yourself and go walk off some steam or something, and let the adults discuss the issues with LSU football.

but our team has been playing badly since late last season.
This isn't really true.
1. We lost a rematch, away from Tiger Stadium, against a team with arguably the best defense all time with arguably our worst QB all time.
2. We beat an AU team at Jordan Hare. LSU was 1-4 this century on their field until 2 Saturday's ago. The average score in Jordan Hare is 13-12 over those 6 games.
3. We lost to a top 5, undefeated team in UF on the road by 1 possession despite having horrendous offensive production.
So I don't see the team playing badly.
The only thing true is that the offense has struggled on the road since the NCG.
There are several key injuries on the line and in the backfield. No outstanding Wide receivers.
This team will have to find an identity and one possible way to do so is use our RB's and TE's more in passing situations - as witnessed yesterday during the first drive - and we might see some consistency.

Struggled much of the game vs Towson. Let that sink in.
It didn't bother me that the offense was flat vs Auburn. Turnovers and penalties were the problem. The Towson game was when I realized the issues were permanent.
