No I don't think he is either, but the extension he got last year is as bad as the one Shula got after going 10-2.
Sucks he's out for the year...he and Stokes are really good. That's a risky strategy but y'all have the potential to be a top 4 seed next year if that works out

I agree. I hate Bama, but like I said with the similarities beteen Grant/Cuonzo seeing Grant kind of fall apart here has me a little worried about Cuonzo. Both coaches really need to recruit some shooters, but at least we're in decent shape in the frontcourt.
Yeah, especially if we miss the tourney this year. Cuonzo really will go on the hot seat here. A lot of people on call in shows etc. are already yapping about the slow pace and missing the tourney again would be bad news for him.
I just think the staff feels like a potential Golden/Hubbs/McRae/Maymon/Stokes lineup next year is more appealing than possibly having Maymon coming back for 10 games or whatever just to get us up to an 8 or 9 seed.
