What to do against Florida?

I haven't posted in awhile, so what do you think LSU's gameplan should be this week against Florida in the swamp? Should we come out of the gates throwing down the field, or should we pound the ball with Ware and Hilliard to wear down the defense?

Score more points than they do.

What we always do, pound the ball.

I watched the Kentucky game and I really thought they were able to run the ball some on Florida. Florida has really good speed but had a little difficulty with the rush. I think we get in there and run the ball mostly to set up the play action passing. When we do throw early we need to take shots deep to loosen up the secondary. With this a road game the crowd noise will effect the passing game with our tackles and their speed rushers. The big games we need to win we do so with being able to run.

This...very much so. I really tend to call it like it is, good or bad, and I agree with Gary Danielson here, that LSU is going to roll Florida.
Pound the ball, don't turn it over, and hook up on a few big pass plays when they start cheating up too much....and play solid defense....This is who LSU is...that is not going to change under Les Miles, for better or worse. That is the only bad thing....I feel we are starting to lose elite Wr's and QB's because they don't like the system...not sure why our OL sux though, other than perhaps stud.

I think this was a game just like Towson where we were busy looking ahead. UF's Dline will step it up for this game.

But we should have some osrt of shotgun plan. I imagine putting Shep in the backfield as a decoy or for play action. Remember last year against Oregon, the offense was really stagnant until they went into a hurry up/2 minute mode and started getting the ball to our playmakers.
We need to do something like tha against Florida, but it can't be at panic mode and it shouldn't be right off the bat.

Play the field position game and take your shots when you can. Balance between run and pass is always best.

look at overall stats...florida is not that good....they have just played a few teams that were not as good as some people think, in a&m and tenn.

Run the ball and hope Florida can't stop it. Which, according to Muschamp, they have been practicing for two weeks.
Play great Defense and special teams.
These are the tools for victory and just about all we can do that's consistently effective.

They say running the ball controls the game.
Looking at Florida's D-Line or lack there of, we should be able to Run the Ball indeed.
Keep the penalties down and have ball discipline and it should be a good game.
I don't see Florida running the ball for more than 125 yds, and their passing game isn't superfly.
So on paper, LSU should win by 12+.
Guess we'll see.

I think they will challenge our run which will make the score close.
Idk If we win by twelve plus unless Defense scores of turnovers or special teams.
