And yeah, shite just got real. That guard is gonna suffer in ways I can't even imagine. I hate Opie being gone but he never got over Donna and wasn't even going to get over Piney either unless he killed Clay (and he'd still suffer anyway).
It sucks but something extreme was going to have to happen to get Jax's arse in gear.
Pope is just a badass villain though. Ruthless but has this edge of wise old gangsta who you may want to listen to.

I agree with this. I sort of feel like his story was done. Plus, most people complained about the show always giving the guys an unrealistic out in bad situations, such as Romeo being CIA at the end of last season. I hate that Opie died, as he was my favorite character, but I'm ok with it from a story perspective. Because of the life they live, bad stuff has to happen to them at some point.
