Fantasy is definitely the best and the worst thing to happen to the NFL.

It keeps me watching the RedZone channel as much as possible when otherwise I wouldn't really care what was going on in the 2nd quarter of the Browns/Bengals game which is good.

However, at the same time it leads to episodes like yesterday I am absolutely raging at my TV when McFadden gets a TD overturned, then gets stopped at the 1 the following drive, then Demaryius gets a TD overturned within a 10 minute span.

It's just really hard to change the channel from NFL RZ. I only meant to watch until the end of the first games yesterday after watching Being:Liverpool, but ended up being sucked in well into the late afternoon games.

Also, like gormogon says, I'm not sure how much of my depreciating American football interest can be attributed to soccer. Perhaps a part of it is just getting older, and having to manage my time more effectively. Where as before I would watch CFB and NFL all afternoon on Sat and Sun, now I'm getting my soccer fix all before noon, and I'm already emotionally drained. And I'm finding myself with the wife at a farmer's market or a pumpkin patch or some shite. And I don't hate it.
