Mostly this. I didn't think it was horrible, and there were times where it was really compelling (mostly due to the performances), but it REALLY dragged on for no good reason. Honestly, when I saw the thread title, I was thinking OP was probably just being a douche so I went to the movie anyway. I was pretty disappointed.

edit: Just read the OP. This was still a terrible thread, but I think OP's heart was in the right place.

eta: Loved There Will Be Blood and Punch-Drunk Love. Liked Magnolia. Never seen Boogie Nights
