Not a knock on Spags, I apply that thinking to all coaches.
If anything, on the chance that the D never turns it around this year, I don't want people shitting all over Spags and how it was bad hire. Coaches aren't rumpelstiltskin, they can't turn straw into gold.

Theres only one coach who can do this, and he is suspended and bangin blondes in the Carribiean.
Spags will be fine in the long run. Especially when we get Payton back. The second he walks into the lockerroom its a gaurenteeed superbowl. Plus our GM will come back and hopefully make some moves.
That said, people have been way to quick to jump ship and throw him under the bus, as has been the Saints fanbases modus operandi with every high caliber coach and prospect since Katrina. The day we got good, our fans got crazy.
