I'm not an OC or HC, but I would be very hesitant in exposing what, 2 games in, appears to be a valuable weapon to the fire that would be directed toward it by letting it go "hog wild".
I would like a passing game that gave us bout 225 each time out, but I'm not gonna knock 475 yds and 41 pts a game.

As I watch how Mett is being handled by the staff, I am reminded about the last four years, when we HAD to throw the ball. We all know what happened to the psyche of our young QBs. Bring Mett along comfortably, and he will shine. Silver lining would be for him to return for his Heisman senior year.
