It's not just that the opening tactics set us up for failure, his second half changes put us deeper in a hole.
Pulling Beckerman for Danny Williams accomplished nothing. Despite Beckerman not playing DM very well, he was the best passer in that lineup. Williams whose performances suggest that he is just a warm body. Possession players like Graham Zusi, Torres, and Corona just sat on the bench in favor of Williams.

I agree. I would have sub Torres in for Beckerman,
Corona for Gomez, and Shea for Jones. But that was before I saw Shea's performance.
