Klinsmann is getting his tactics and starting 11 wrong in competitive matches. He played way too conservative last night and it cost him. When I saw the first 11 last night I knew we would struggle to earn a point. I posted the same statement in the game thread before the game started. It was plain to see that there was no way no way that trio of midfielders would ever work. Klinsmann should be able to see this if fans like us can.

It's not just that the opening tactics set us up for failure, his second half changes put us deeper in a hole.

Pulling Beckerman for Danny Williams accomplished nothing. Despite Beckerman not playing DM very well, he was the best passer in that lineup. Williams whose performances suggest that he is just a warm body. Possession players like Graham Zusi, Torres, and Corona just sat on the bench in favor of Williams.

I knew this when his 24-man squad was announced. Very little quality.
