I'm really looking forward to seeing Neil Young, Jack, Avett Brothers and Gary Clark, but the overall lineup is pretty forgettable. It's certainly not keeping up with any of the other fall lineups.

I don't enjoy electronic/dubstep music and there are about 10-15 acts like that.

There are some great acts, but I'm disappointed that I paid $150 w/ gas, food, etc still to be accounted for and no new bands added.

thats how a lot of acts on the bill are.

You can see them for 5 bucks around the Nola/BR area.

Yeah, but $150 is worth the admission of Neil Young and Jack White alone.

I've seen George Porter Jr in some incarination (GPJ Trio, 101 Pardners, and obviously both The Funky Meters and The Meters) well over 25 times.

I've thought the Voodoo lineup was weak in the past and have always managed to have an epic time, this lineup is fine by me. Some videos and a playlist on this here thing: LINK

Yeah, this is the worst line-up since it started. I can't believe they have not added any new bands. I have weekend passes too, I guess I'll make the best of it.

Bootsy Collins, Jack White, Gary Clark Jr., Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Toots, Tomahawk, Thomas Dolby are all solid, definitely not as stacked with midrange talent as year's past.

It's not a bad lineup and yes, I'll have a great time, especially seeing Jack, my favorite artist.

That said, Lolla, ACL, B'roo, even new to the game Hangout are all destroying Voodoo.

Is it limited money? Did they spend it all on Jack, Green Day(terrible pick) and Neil?

The Sunday lineup of Coheed-Nas-Jack White will be well worth the price for that day.
