You really need to relax. Clean your freezer, then go back to where you had ac. This is the downside of living where hurricanes come. They're doing the best they can, and if you don't like it, start your own power company and see how easy it is.

I've been without power for over 24 hours and I'm not bitching. You should know better than to leave raw food in your freezer with a Hurricane approaching.
