Just talked to a firefighter friend on duty in the St. Bernard Parish area.
They've had a boat fire, house fire, code that didn't make it, a few med calls, trees down and a lot of alarms going off.
They said it's mostly just wind damage out there right now.

got a cousin who is pretty new to SBFD. he has been waiting for a few fires

We've been taking this mother frickers best shot for over 4 hours now with no end in sight. Got a lot of shite all over the neighborhood and now the water is sitting in the streets. Gonna be a long couple of days. And the house fire in that 2nd pic is about 6 small blocks from me.
