I'm always impressed with how well we travel. I'm surprised by some of these distances. It takes quite a commitment of time , money , and energy to make some of these road games. Sorry if Germans.

All of those take less than a day to drive if you don't stop. Personally I have no problem driving 12-15 hours to get where I wanna go. Glad our fans feel the same way!

Everybody should take a least one road trip game and then who knows, you just may get addicted to them. That's what happened to me about 10 years ago. Now I enjoy them more than home games in one sense. Nothing like taking a road trip with your friends and heading in to "enemy territory" to take in an LSU game. It's a good ole time.

If UK is the lengthiest then you can make it to any SEC school in 10-11 hours. Drove up there for the basketball game in Trent's first season

Still have StarkVegas left to add from the originals, and of course A&M and Mizzou. Was scheduled for State till they moved it last year, and will see A&M this year.
Scar and KU are some long arse drives. We hit Scar last time they played us at home, the state fair was there at the same time. KU was fun, lots of people offering a Baskin Robins variety of bourbon to drink. Shame Chuck The Truck didnt see the second half till it was too late.

I've made that drive to UK and back, and it was a long one. I didn't realize it was a longer drive than USC, though. I had always assumed it was further.
Between personal trips and road trips with the band, I've been everywhere except for Fayetteville (been to LR, though), UGA, USC, and Mizzou. We were still playing A&M when I was in school, so I even had the "privilege" of going to that hell hole of a town in late Aug. It was the last regular season meeting and Kevin Faulk's first game as a Tiger in 95. I'll never go back there again.

What about Washington? Tigers took over their downtown.

I agree. I love Tiger Stadium atmosphere but the parking, traffic, LSU administration decisions, etc. make it worse each year. Still going to be at every home game, but I look forward to road trips. You get to experience the different fan base cultures and the LSU fans that travel tend to be much more into the actual game and more knowledgeable about what is going on.

I agree with you. Before looking at the distances, I would have guessed SCAR was the longest drive. It's close though. The other surprise for me is how far it is to Mizzou.

It's a real nice drive once you get into northern Alabama and Tennessee. Just time your trip so you don't hit Nashville in mid-afternoon.

UK might be the longest, but Florida used to feel the longest.
Of course, that will happen when you lose 41 to 9 and then you have to drive home after that.
