CE just hooked me up, thanks.
How many short stories and histories are there for the ASOIAF series?
Byron,
I have read about 15% of the first Malazan book and it didn't really grab me so I would go Kingkiller first.
On a similar but slightly different genre I just finished the most recent installment of the Dresden files. I really like that series a lot. It is about a wizard/private investigator in modern day Chicago. Each book is a reasonably short read and there are about 14 so far in the series.
What is TP and TQ?

Dresden Files is awesome, one of my favorite series. Needs to get made into an HBO or Showtime show.
