All credit goes to PaperCutNinja for this, but I think this week's episode solidifies it, Varys must have Targ blood, most likely Blackfyre. When considering where he's from (where the Blackfyres fled after their respective rebellions), his shaved head (hiding silver hair), and, from this week's episode, the sorcerer in the box. Why would a sorcerer want some random kid's body parts? Whose blood makes for the best magic? Kings blood! Why was the guy in the box's mouth sewn shut? So he couldn't tell anyone who Varys really was. Thoughts?

Yep, Targ/Blackfyre are basically the same.
It would not be a surprise.

I think that if I was Varys, there's no way I would keep that sorcerer at King's landing if he knew I was a Blackfyre or worse yet, a Targ. Mouth sewn up or not, that is a hell of a chance to take. The old adage "dead men tell no tales" seems appropriate here.
And there is absolutely no way I'd tell that story to someone who might put two and two together with the royal blood, etc.
