If the albums and covers are in good shape they can be worth some money. I just bought 4 beatles albums today from an LSU professor near campus for $5 a piece, but they really aren't even worth much more than that. Definitely depends on the albums.

Have any doors albums?

do you mean atomic?

It must have been Atomic. I doubt they spend any more time finding good records than other local record stores in other cities. It's really not that difficult.

You can find great vinyl deals online.

However, nothing beats going to a good record store and going through boxes of records. There is no telling what you may come across.

they don't have a big stock and 90% of it is in plastic.... they take the time to go through it... they also seem to have each individual record in a database... so they know when they sell it...

went to a place in NOLA this weekend... had to ask the owner where the vinyl was... he said... Oh thats one the 3rd floor.... we took up the stairs and he said "you'll have to turn the lights on when you get up there"

i knew then it was gonna be my kind of place.

Seems like they are trying to capitalize on the fact that they are one of the few places to get vinyl in town.

Wow, how evil of them.

They should be required to operate as a non-profit.

I remember seeing a bunch at the Flea Market in Prairieville when I went.

I just gave away a ton of old classic rock records. I have a couple hundred, but they're all country.

Nothing evil about it. It's just stupid of them and will not keep them in business if they keep prices the way they are.
