Graham Parker & The Rumour - Hammersmith Odeon, London (April 3, 1979)

With his unique blend of blues, R&B, Van Morrisonish soul, Dylanesque folk, and plain old kick-out-the-jams hard rock, Graham Parker was one of the greatest talents to come out of New Wave. But unlike Elvis Costello (who clearly based himself himself on Parker in some respects) he never became a star. This concert presents Parker at near the height of his powers, touring to promote his classic album Squeezing Out Sparks.
