I've never seen Death Proof and probably never will. But I understand why he made it and it was probably pretty fun for him.
The easiest decision for me is putting Jackie Brown last. After that it gets hard. That's what she said. I'd probably count them down like so...
5. Jackie Brown
4. Reservoir Dogs
3. Pulp Fiction
2. Inglorious Basterds
1. Kill Bill 1&2 - I have to count these together. If I had to separate, then Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds would be ahead of Vol 1. But combined they would be my favorites.
I like all the movies listed so that is not a knock against any of them but more of a testament to tarantinos awesomeness. There are a lot of people around here that think Kill Bill 1&2 are super overrated/his worst films. But I love how it almost plays out with an anime feel to it. I'm not even an anime guy. I just like the realism but also the extreme exaggeration thrown in there half the time too.

I liked Vol. 1 more than Vol. 2, simply because the Bride kicked so much arse, but Vol. 2 did provide the necessary backstory.
