I was thinking 5 years. But you may be right. It looks like the longest before this was 3 years.
Were the penalties involving SMU/others open ended or for a fixed amount of years? If "Unprecedented", that would mean at least 4 years correct?
Edit: I was thinking football and not all the other athletic programs, so who knows what will happen.
