I was there. i was sitting on the 10 yard line with a direct view of where catch came in right next to the band. The scene was very chaotic. After the Wildcats took the lead, the stadium was in a frenzie. A large group of about 8,000 students were amassing in one endzone. A lower number around 5,000 were in the endzone where td was scored. To be honest, I was reaDy to leave but, I couldn't because the portals were jammed full of people that wouldn't get out the way. I was very concerned about the safety our players. When the pass went up, I was temporarily distracted by the celebratory fireworks that went off at the top of the stadium. When I looked down,I could see Devery breaking through a hallway in the defense. I knew he had a shot. The catch in person was not as spectacular as in person. Devery bobbled the ball and hauled it in. When he did, I looked all around the field for yellow flags to make sure we wouldn't have the miracle taken away like Kithchens las second td was in Vandy. What made the situation so weird is that the stadium was not reacting correctly. The LSU fans in that endzone knew and the Willdcat fans in that endzone knew. But, the rest of the stadium was cheering as if Kentucky won. It took about 5 minutes before everyone knew what happened. I turned to hug someone and couldn't find anyone. Everyone in my party had run downstairs. I turned around and found a well endowed beautiful woman dressed in tiger stripes. We hugged like we knew each other for ever.
