Just kind of worried since he committed so early.
Not much going on today is it?

How'd his mom put Florida fans in their place?
Busy so I don't get to follow the recruiting as much as I'd like to.

One of the 24/7 Florida writers wrote an article about him and how he said he was still strongly committed to LSU. Well, some of the posters, mainly just one, commented on how sketchy it was that he visits LSU out of the blue and next thing you know they have a commitment from him.
Well, his mom is a member on LSU and I think Florida's 24/7 site and basically ripped into him but in a respectful manner saying that they had the opportunity to visit a prestigious school so they did and Kain felt like LSU was the place to be for him.
If I can find the exact response, I'll post it because it is worth it to read, even if it is premium

About midway down that page has the initial comment, her response and then another response from her a little after the first one

This whole thing is extremely fishy and that's not some asshurt stance on my part. He is considered a big UF target and a lean for a while then takes a last-minute trip to LSU and commits to the surprise of everyone, even LSU people. That doesn't sound strange?
If this were an in-state kid for LSU doing the same for UF then you all would be equally as shocked and unlikely to believe it sticks. This isn't a 2013 kid, but rather one that doesn't ink his signature for another 1 1/2 years.
Response from Daub's mother
HELLO HTOWNGATOR,
I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU THINK THE WHOLE THING IS FISHY. MY SON HAS NEVER HAD A FAVORITE TEAM HE JUST LOVES AND ENOYS TO PLAY FOOTBALL. WHEN WE WENT TO LSU HE MADE THIS CHOICE ALL ON HIS OWN. HE CAME TO ME AND SAID MOM THIS FEELS RIGHT. AND I TOLD HIM FOLLOW YOUR HEART SON. IF LSU IS WHERE YOU FEEL IS RIGHT FOR THEN YOU GOT MY SUPPORT. WE HAPPENED TO BE GOING HOME FROM BEING IN TX PLAYING ON THE USA FOOTBALL TEAM. SO WHY NOT STOP BY WE WERE RIGHT THERE. SO WHY NOT VISIT.. SO PLEASE LET MY SON ENJOY HIS COMMIT. HE IS A GOOD KID LOOKING TO PLAY SOME GREAT FOOTBALL . HE HAS ALWAYS SAID HE WANTED TO GO TO SCHOOL OUT SIDE THE STATE OF FLORIDA. IT WAS ME TRYING TO KEEP HIM CLOSE TO HOME IN FLORIDA.. BUT IT IS NOT ME GOING HE HAS TO GO WHERE HE FEELS COMFORTABLE...

Damn, I love his mom. Honest, and wanted him close. Knows its his life....WOW! Even if that kids never steps on campus, I have a feeling he will go far, with the kind of grit that raise him. Damn, is all I can say...
