It's obvious that LSU has been a much more "relevant" national title contender since 2000 than in previous eras. Why are we even arguing about this?
And how exactly is it "obvious" ???????
*So 1935-36 just NEVER happened?
*How about the 16 year period from 1958-73 when LSU finished in the Top Ten about 8 times, averaged about 9 wins a year and went to a bowl game just about ever year?
*1982?
*1984-88? Including 1987 when we finished 5th in the nation!
*1996-97?
What team are you a fan of ?????????
