I watched the 71 game with my dad I was 11 never forgot Bert Jones fumbled or missed a pitch late in the game.
I watched the 82 game LSU was driving late when hilliard fumbled. I think we were in field goal range.That was the year we went to Bamma and beat the Bear.( watched the bamma game in the superdome
it was ten dolars they showed the game on the old screens).
Both Bert Jones and Hilliard were great players just not perfect. No one is.

No one is perfect but I will take a Bert Jones and a Dalton Hilliard on any LSU team anytime anywhere.
